Event Details/Other Comments:

This mini track focuses on innovative design and use of Decision Support Systems (DSS) and technologies in the environment. This includes, but is not limited to agriculture, aquaculture, natural resources, environmental, and ecosystem management. Decision support technologies spans various DSS including, but not limited to, knowledge-driven, data-driven, model-driven, and geographically-driven systems. The purpose is to bridge academic research effort pertaining to various DSS technologies with practice. The track brings together all researchers interested in exploring new and innovative applications of DSS technologies and ideas for improving/adapting such technologies in new problem domains.
DSS in the environment poses unique challenges and this track emphasizes technical, organizational, and implementation issues in such problem domain. In particular, we are interested in papers that are theoretically founded, but simultaneously illustrate the application of DSS technologies in the environment. Both, research articles and academic and practitioners reports are welcomed.
