The annual Keith Memorial Capstone Conference is an extraordinary opportunity for undergraduates to present their research at a historic and academic-rich venue with world-class peers and colleagues. In light of the publicity surrounding government budget uncertainties, we are excited that we are still able to continue this important tradition.
The conference features research projects which apply a comprehensive set of skills and concepts to a real-world problem or contemporary research area. Students will present their research project results to an audience comprised of students, professors and participating organizations, as well as judges assigned to determine the best presentations. Winning individuals and teams come from diverse problem domains and across many academic institutions, so all are highly encouraged to participate.
The conference features competition within the following seven tracks:
-Decision Analysis
-Process Modeling
-Modeling and Simulation
-Modeling and Simulation for Military Applications
-Project Management
-Systems Design
-Systems Design for Defense Applications
The conference begins at 7:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast and registration packet pickup on May 2nd. That evening, conference award winners will be announced at the Capstone Awards Banquet (maximum of five awards per group).
