Event Details/Other Comments:

CanQueue 2006 is the 8th annual CanQueue conference since being initiated in 1999 by Prof. Alfa at the University of Manitoba.
Subsequent conferences were held in London (2000), Waterloo (2001), Saskatoon (2002), Toronto (2003), Kelowna (2004) and Hamilton (2005).
This two-day conference is held for Canadian queuing theorists and practitioners interested in exchanging research ideas, especially with respect to early-stage projects. Graduate student participation is also encouraged.
CanQueue 2006 sessions will be held Sept. 15 and 16 at the Banff International Research Station (http://www.pims.math.ca/birs/). This facility provides both meeting rooms and accommodation.
