Beril Toktay has been elected to its board, where she will serve a two-year term as vice president of marketing, outreach and communication. Toktay is a professor in the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

INFORMS Annual Meeting Sets Organization Record for Attendance

CATONSVILLE, MD, November 6, 2019 – INFORMS, the largest international association of operations research (O.R.) and analytics professionals and students, set an organization record at its 2019 Annual Meeting in Seattle, Washington last month. Academic and industry professionals from around the world made up the largest meeting in INFORMS history consisting of 7,330 attendees, which is a more than 18% increase from last year.
